Crunchy Cabbage Salad

ingredients

Salad
  • 1/2 head Cabbage, finely chopped
  • 4 Green onions, chopped
  • 1 package Chicken-flavored Ramen noodles (save seasoning packet for dressing)
  • 2 teaspoons toasted Sesame seeds
  • 1/2 cup toasted slivered Almonds
  • Cooked Chicken slices
  • Crushed Pineapple
  • Chopped Cilantro
Dressing
  • 2 tablespoons mayonnaise
  • 3 tablespoons Sugar
  • 1 tablespoon Vinegar
  • 1/4 cup Oil (you can use less)
  • 2 drops Sesame oil
  • 3 drops Chile oil
  • 1/2 teaspoon Pepper
  • 1 packet Ramen chicken seasoning (from ramen noodles)

For Salad:

    Toss together cabbage and green onions. Add cilantro at this time, if using.

    Just before serving, add crushed ramen noodles, sesame seeds, and almonds. Also add chicken and pineapple, if using. Pour dressing over all and toss to distribute.

For Dressing:

In blender, combine mayonnaise, sugar, vinegar, sesame oil, chile oil, pepper, and ramen seasoning. Slowly add oil in thin stream until dressing thickens and emulsifies.
