Candied Pecans
Tastey Candied Pecan recipe - created and customized by Dahlia Cavazos
ingredients
- 1 Cup Sugar
- 2 teasp Pumpkin Pie Spice
- 1 teasp cayenne pepper - optional
- 1/4 teasp salt
- 2 egg whites
- 1/4 cup butter or margarine
- 4 Cups pecan halves
directions

Stir in first four ingredients first.

Beat until foamy.

Gradually add in sugar mixture, beating on high until peaks form.

Fold in melted butter and pecan halves.

Use foil baking pans or stone pans.

Bake at 250 for 45 minutes.

Stir every 15 minutes.

Let cool and store for up to 2 weeks.
