COCKTAIL MEATBALLS
ingredients

- 1 large egg
- 1/2 cup finely chopped onion
- 1/4 cup fine bread crumbs
- 2 T. grated Parmesan cheese
- 2 T. milk
- 1/2 t. dried oregano
- 1/2 t. dried basil
- 1/2 t, dried parsley
- 1/2 t. salt
- 1/4 t. pepper
- 1/2 t. Worcestershire sauce
- 1/4 t. hot pepper sauce
- 2 t. vegetable oil
- 2 t. creole mustard
- 2 t. butter
- 1/2 t. Cajun seasoning
- 1 1/2 t. minced
- SAUCE:
- 1 cup ketchup
- 1/2 cup minced onion
- 1 t. minced garlic
- 1/4 cup packed brown sugar
- 1/4 cup red wine vinegar
- 1 T. Worcestershire sauce
- 1/4 t. pepper
- 1 t. salt

Preheat oven to 350 degrees.

In a large bowl, combine all ingredients for meatballs except the oil and butter. Mix well with hands. Form individual meatball, about 1 inch in diameter. In a large pan, heat oil and butter. Add the meatballs and brown on all sides. Place in a 2 1/2 quart baking dish.

Make the sauce by combining all ingredients in a bowl, whisking to disolve the brown sugar. Pour over meatballs and bake until meat is cooked and sauce is bubbly., about 20 minutes.
