Chili Beans
ingredients
- 1 lb. hamburger
- 1 medium onion, diced
- 1 garlic clove, minced
- 1 Tbsp. chili powder
- 1-1 1/2 quarts cooked beans (pinto, kidney, and/or black; canned are OK)
- 1 small can tomato paste
- 1 quart stewed tomatoes
directions
In a large skillet on medium high heat, saute hamburger, onions, and garlic until hamburger is no longer pink. Remove from heat, and stir in chili powder. On low heat in a large slow cooker or in a stockpot on the stove, combine all ingredients and allow to simmer until warmed through.

May be frozen in freezer zip-top bags for several months.
