Fudge
my aunt Netta used to make fudge and this is her recipe...the secret is to cook it slowly
ingredients
- 3 C sugar
- 1 can evaporated milk
- 1 t vanilla
- 1 large T of margarine
- 3 T cocoa
- 1/4 C water
- dash of salt
directions
combine cocoa, sugar, salt, water and milk in med saucepan. Cook over med heat until soft-ball stage, add vanilla and margarine, remove from heat and beat until mixture starts to thicken. Pour onto greased 9x12 pan, cool, cut and enjoy
