Chicken on the Bone or Oven Baked Chicken
This is one of Taylor’s favorite things ever, or at least it was when she was a little girl.
ingredients
- chicken thighs and drumsticks
- 2 cups milk
- 2 eggs slightly beaten
- 1 cup flour
- dash of paprika
- dash of salt
- dash of pepper
- 1/2 cup parmesan cheese
- 1/2 stick butter
- PAM
directions
Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Cover your cooking pan with foil and put it with 1/2 stick of butter in the oven while it is preheating. Melt the butter but don’t brown it. Skin the chicken, dredge in flour and next 4 ingredients, dip in milk and egg mixture and put back in flour mixture in a large ziploc bag. Once all chicken is inside, seal the bag and shake so that all pieces are coated. Place the chicken on the melted butter in the baking pan. Spray chicken with PAM. Bake for 30 minutes, then remove pan from the oven and turn the chicken over and bake another 30 minutes. Make sure the coating is nice and brown before serving. Sometimes I turn the temperature up to 375-400 degrees the last 15 or so minutes to crisp it up.
