Double Chocolate Chip Cookies
ingredients
- 1 cup butter, softened
- 1 cup sugar
- 1 cup brown sugar
- 2 eggs
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
- 2 cups flour
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/3 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
- 3 cups chocolate chips

Preheat oven to 375°F. Grease cookie sheet.

In a mixer bowl, cream together the butter and sugars until smooth. Beat in the eggs one at a time, then stir in the vanilla. Sift in the flour, baking soda, salt and cocoa powder; mix well. Stir in the chocolate chips. Roll tablespoonfuls of dough into balls and place them one inch apart onto prepared cookie sheet. Bake for 8 to 10 minutes. Allow cookies to cool on baking sheet for 2 minutes before removing to a wire rack to cool completely.
