There will be no whining over this recipe. A fast and easy recipie - and you probably already have all of the ingredients on hand! AND it is elegant enough for company.

ingredients

  • 1 package frozen ravioli
  • 2 TBS butter
  • 1 cup vegetable (frozen or fresh)I use broccoli
  • 1/2 cup cut carrots (fresh or frozen)
  • 1 cup chopped mushrooms
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1 TBS flour
  • 1 TBS basil
  • 1/4 tsp. salt
  • 1/8 tsp. pepper
  • 1/4 cup sour cream

directions

  • 1

    Cook ravioli according to instructions on package.

    Melt butter in a large skillet.

  • 3

    Add veggies and mushrooms.

  • 4

    In bowl, whisk milk, flour, basil, salt, pepper.

  • 5

    Add milk mixture to the skillet.

  • 6

    When it is well-blended, add sour cream and heat through being careful not to scald.

  • 7

    Pour white sauce over ravioli and serve.

Mom gave me this recipe when I moved into my first apartment. I have no idea where it came from - possibly Mr. Food.
