Grandma Carmela Palazzolo's Sausage and Potatoesnicole
- 1 medium onion
- olive oil
- Italian sausage links
- red or white potatoes
- 1 lemon
Sauté chopped onion in 1 teaspoon olive oil adding 1 tablespoon of water while cooking. Add sausage to brown (or you can brown sausage in a separate pan and drain the grease.) Quarter the potatoes and sauté. Add 1 cup or more water if you like a lot of broth and the juice of half of a lemon. Lower heat. Cook until potatoes are soft and sausage cooked about 30 minutes.
