Broccoli Casserole
ingredients
- 1 lg. bunch fresh broccoli
- 1 can cream of mushroom
- 2/3 cup milk
- 1/2 can water chestnuts sliced
- 1 cup of sharp shredded cheese
- 1/2 can French fried onions
directions
Preheat oven to 400. Wash broccoli thououghly. Cut off the stems and seperate into stalks. Cook broccoli in boiling water for 5 minutes, until slightly tender. Drain well and chop up good place in a casserole dish. Mix together; soup, milk, water chestnuts and cheese. Pour over broccoli. Sprinkle fried onions on top and bake at 400 for 20 minutes or until done.
