Vaniljekranse
ingredients
- 1 tsp. vanilla extract
- 375 g flour
- 125 g potato flour
- 375 g cold butter
- 100 g fine ground almonds
- 250 g sugar
- 1 egg
directions
Blend flour and the potato flour together. Cut butter into flour mixture in small pieces. Add vanilla, ground almond and sugar. Add egg and form a dough quickly. Cover and refrigerate overnight. The next day, have the meat grinder fitted with the “star” disc. and put the dough through the grinder and make approx 10 cm ropes. Form cookies as pictured above. Place cookies on sheet pan and bake for approx. 8 minutes at 400°.
