Hot Crab Dip
ingredients
- 1 Tbsp butter
- 3 Tbsp flour
- 3/4 cup light cream
- 1 egg yolk beaten
- 1 can crab meat
- 1 tsp Worcester sauce
- 1/2 tsp mustard
- 1/2 tsp salt
- dash of pepper
- 1 tsp minced onion
- 1 Tbsp green pepper
- 1 tsp lemon juice
- 1/4 cup buttered bread crumbs (=3 Tbsp butter + 1/2 cup bread crumbs)
directions
Melt butter and stir in flour. Add cream and cook until thick. Carefully add yolk. Combine crab, Worcester sauce, mustard, salt, pepper onion, green pepper and lemon juice. Add to cream mixture and cook for 3 minutes. Put in a greased casserole dish and top with breadcrumbs ad paprika. Bake for 10 minutes at 400.
