Broccoli and Rice Casserole
A holiday tradition that is loved by everyone!
ingredients
- 2 Tb, butter
- 1 can cream of chicken soup
- 1 oz. package of garlic cheese spreed
- 3 cups of cooked rice (white or brown)
- 1/2 cup diced onion
- 1/2 cup diced celery
- 1 can cream of mushroom
- 1 package chopped frozen broccoli, cooked
- 1 cup sharp cheddar cheese, grated
directions
Saute celery and onion in butter until tender. Mix with chicken soup, mushroom soup, cheese, broccoli and 1 cup of cooked rice. Grease a large casserole dish and line with 2 cups of cooked rice. Add broccoli mixture. Sprinkle grated sharp cheddar cheese on top. Heat at 350 degrees for 30 minutes.
