Peanut Butter Cake

ingredients
- CAKE:
- 2 sticks of butter, softened
- 1 cup water
- 1/2 cup peanut butter
- 2 cups flour
- 2 cups sugar
- 1/2 t. salt
- 1 cup sour cream (or 3/4 cup buttermilk)
- 2 eggs
- 1 t. baking soda
- FROSTING:
- 1 stick butter, softened
- 4 T. milk
- 1 t. vanilla
- 3 cups powdered sugar (the recipe said 4 cups but that is too thick)

Mix flour, sugar and salt in a bowl. In a pan, mix butter, water and peanut butter and bring to a boil stirring until smooth. Pour this over flour mixture and blend well.

Blend together eggs, sour cream and soda and beat into above mixture. Pour into greased jelly roll pan and bake at 350 for 25 minutes. Cool.

For frosting- put butter, peanut butter and milk in a pan and bring to a boil. Add vanilla and powdered sugar and blend. Spread on cooled cake.
