Amish Friendship Cinnamon Bread

- For starter kit:
- 3 cups sugar
- 3 cups all-purpose flour
- 3 cups whole milk
- To bake bread:
- 1 cup vegetable oil
- 1 cup sugar
- 1 tsp. vanilla
- 3 large eggs
- 3 tsp. baking powder
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1/2 cup whole milk
- 1/2 tsp. baking soda
- 2 small boxes of vanilla instant pudding
- 1 tsp. cinnamon
- 1/2 cup raisins, chocolate chips, and/or chopped nuts (optional)

Day 1: In gallon-sized Ziploc bag, mix 1 cup sugar, 1 cup flour, and 1 cup milk with wooden or plastic spoon. Place bag on counter top at room-temp. (Do not refrigerate!)

Day 2, 3, 4, and 5: Squeeze bag several times.

Day 6: Add 1 cup flour, 1 cup milk, and 1 cup sugar to bag. Squeeze several times to mix.

Day 7, 8, and 9: Squeeze bag several times.

Day 10: Combine batter in bag with 1 cup flour, 1 cup milk and 1 cup sugar. Mix with wooden or plastic spoon.

Pour 4 one cup portions of batter into four gallon-size Ziploc bags. Give away 3 with a copy of these instructions to 3 friends and keep remaining bag for yourself as a starter kit. Place remaining starter kit in freezer until needed (thaw before beginning process).

To bake bread: Place remaining batter in a glass or ceramic bowl. Add oil, sugar, vanilla, eggs, baking powder, salt, flour, milk, baking soda, vanilla instant pudding, and cinnamon. Mix well with wooden or plastic spoon.

Pour into 2 well-greased loaf pans. Sprinkle with extra cinnamon and sugar on top. Bake at 325°F for 1 hour.
