Dutch Kale dish with Polish Sausage
ingredients
- 2 bunches of Kale
- 2 lbs Potatoes (about 10 medium)
- 1 Polish Sausage
- salt
- 2/3 cups Milk
- 2 1/2 Tbsp Butter
- 1 tsp Mustard
directions

1. Cut Kale into small pieces, removing stems.

2. Pre-cook the Kale in some water for 10 minutes.

3. Peel and cut the Potatoes.
- 4
4. Remove the Kale (not the hot water), and add the Potatoes.- the water should just barely cover the Potatoes

5. Add the Kale and Sausage on top.

6. Cook covered for 30 minutes until done.

7. Remove the Sausage.

8. Mash the Kale and Potatoes with Salt, Milk, Butter, and Mustard.
Serving Suggestion
Serve the sausage on the side, as well as applesauce
