ingredients

  • 1 pound bulk italian sausage
  • olive oil
  • 1 cup celery
  • 1 onion sliced
  • 5 cloves of garlic chopped
  • 1 1/2 cups red wine
  • 8 cups chicken broth
  • 1 large can diced tomatoes
  • 2 cans great northern beans undrained
  • 1 package frozen chopped spinach
  • pasta

directions

Brown sausage in olive oil. Add celery, onion and garlic. Add red wine and deglaze bottom of pan. Add chicken broth, tomatoes and beans and cook simmer for about 1 1/2 hours. Add spinach and pasta and cook till pasta is done.
