German Apple Cake

ingredients
- 1/2 cup butter or margarine
- 1 tsp baking powder
- 1 egg, well beaten
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1 tbsp sugar
- 1 1/2 cup flour
- 1/2 tsp cinnamon
- 3 tbsp butter
- Apples
directions

Mix first six ingredients and roll out to about 1/2 inch thick. Place in a shallow pan. Pare and slice apples thin and place on top. Mix next 4 ingredients, spread on top of apples.

Bake at 375° about 30 minutes.

Peaches may be used instead or apples
