Orange Nut Bread
This is a recipe that I first made in Home Ec class in high school. It is really good and can be made with or without the Orange drizzle on top.
ingredients
- 2 1/2 Cups flour
- 3 1/2 tsp baking powder
- 1 tsp salt
- 1 Cup sugar
- 3 TBSP oil
- 1 egg
- 1 1/4 c. Milk - OR - 1/2 c. milk and 3/4 cups orange juice
- 1 c. chopped nuts
- 4 tsp orange peel

Grease and flour a 9X5X3 loaf pan. Mix all dry ingredients together. Mix wet ingredients together then mix with dry. Beat 1/2 minute add nuts and peel and mix. Bake at 350° for 55 to 65 minutes.

Orange Drizzle
- 3
Mix 1 cup powdered sugar with 3 TBSP Margarine and enough Orange juice to mix. Drizzle over loaf when cool.
