RED CABBAGE
ingredients
- 1, 3 lb red cabbage
- 2 green apples, cored and chopped
- 1 onion, chopped
- 1/4 C white sugar
- 1/4 C vinegar
- 2 T oil
- 1 t salt
- pepper to taste
- 1/2 C boiling water

Shred cabbage. Put in pot with apples, onions, sugar, vinegar, oil, salt, and pepper. Stir until well mixed.

Add the boiling water. Bring to boil, reduce heat. Cover and simmer for 1 hour.

Stir occasionally.
