Oven Baked Chicken

A healthier version of fried chicken

  • 1 Tbsp margarine

  • ⅔ Cup reduced fat Bisquick

  • 1½ tsp paprika

  • 1¼ tsp salt

  • ¼ tsp pepper

  • 2½ to 3½ lbs cut up chicken (remove skin)

  • heat oven to 425 degrees. Place pan in the oven to melt margarine (13X9X2 baking dish)

  • Mix Bisquick, paprika, salt and pepper. Coat chicken. Place meaty sides down in dish. (Dish and margarine should both be hot).

  • Bake 35 minutes, turn chicken. Bake about 15 minutes longer until juices are no longer pink.
