Ingredients

  • 3 lbs cubed chicken breast
  • 14 oz can diced tomatoes
  • 14 oz can chicken broth
  • 1 chopped green pepper
  • 1 diced onion
  • 1/4 cup hot sauce
  • 2 cloves garlic, chopped
  • 2 tsp Old Bay or creole seasoning
  • 1 1/2 tsp oregano
  • 3/4 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp pepper
  • 1 cup uncooked rice
  • 1 lb medium shrimp, shelled & deveined
  • 1 lb hot Italian sausage, chopped
  • 1 cup french fried onion rings

    Combine first group of ingredients into slow cooker. Cook 4-5 hrs on low or 2 hrs on high.

    Stir in rice and cook 2 hrs on low or 1 hr on high.

  • 3

    Add shrimp and sausage, and cook for 30 mins on high.

  • 4

    Top with onion rings.
