Almond Poppyseed Bread
ingredients
Bread- 3 cups flour
- 2 3/4 cups sugar
- 1 1/2 tsp. baking powder
- 1 1/2 tsp. salt
- 3 eggs
- 1 1/2 cups milk
- 1 1/2 cups veg. oil
- 3 tsp. poppy seeds
- 3 tsp .vanilla extract
- 3 tsp. almond extract
- 3 tsp. butter flavoring
- 1/4 cup orange juice
- 3/4 cups sugar
- 1/2 tsp. vanilla extract
- 1/2 tsp. almond extract
- 1/2 tsp. butter flavoring

Bread
Combine all ingredients and mix well. Spread batter in 3 greased and FLOURED pans (important or they will stick!!) Note: I use bread pans size 7-1/2x3-3/4x2-1/4 a little smaller than the regular size. Bake 350 degrees – 1 hour or until tested and it doesn’t stick.
Glaze
Bring above glaze ingred. to a boil and simmer 5 minutes – BE SURE to WATCH it so it doesn’t boil over. Brush on warm bread after you remove the bread from the bread pans. Keep brushing until all gone. Note: I put wax paper under the cooling rack so catch all the dribbles of glaze.
