Candy Pudding
From Aunt Mayme
ingredients
Pudding- 4 cups Sugar
- 2 Tbs Karo Syrup
- 1 cup (small carton) Whipping Cream
- 1/2 cup Milk
- Pinch of Salt
- 1 cup Pecans
- 1 cup Coconut
- Carton of Candied Cherries 1/3
- Chocolate
directions
Mix pudding ingredients over heat and stir until dissolves and boils. Cover and boil 8 minutes until it makes a good ball. Grease hands with butter and shape mixture into a ball. Place on a chilled broiler pan and put in refrigerator to set. Mix together filling ingredients and knead into pudding ball. Shape into rounded rectangle with a flat bottom on broiler pan. Coat with Chocolate. Cut into small slices to serve. Keep refrigerated when not in use.

Aunt Mayme used a bitter dark chocolate for coating. You can wrap the base of the broiler pan with foil to catch the dripping chocolate and make it easier to clean up.
