ingredients

  • 1 2/3 cup flour
  • 1 1/4 tsp. baking soda
  • 1 1/2 tsp. ginger
  • 3/4 tsp. cinnamon
  • 3/4 tsp. salt
  • 1 egg
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1/2 cup molasses
  • 1/2 cup oil
  • 1/2 cup boiling water

    Sift all dry ingredients together.

  • 2

    Mix together all wet ingredients except for the water.

  • 3

    Mix dry into wet and then add boiling water. Mix well.

  • 4

    Bake in a greased baking pan at 350°F for 20-25 minutes.
