Lorene's Elephant Ears
Cinnamon Crisps like no other! Yum!
ingredients
- 2 pkgs. Dry yeast
- 1 C plus 3 T. water
- 3 eggs
- 2 1/3 C cake flour
- 1 C all purpose flour
- 1/4 C non fat dry milk
- 6 T sugar
- 1 1/2 C. olive oil
- 1/2 T salt
- 2 3/4 C all purpose flour
directions
Mix as for any other bread or rolls, place in bowl to rise. Now roll as for cinnamon rolls, sprinkle with cinnamon and sugar. Roll up and slice. Now take each slice (an inch or 1 1/2 inch thick) and roll these cut to size of a saucer on a board which you have cinnamon and sugar sprinkled on. Now place on cookie sheet to rise probably a half hour and bake in 350 degree oven about 20 minutes. Be sure they are coated both sides with cinnamon and sugar.
