Crockpot Roast Meal
Roast, carrots, and potatoes make a delicious and easy dinner. Fix it in the morning and by supper time, it’ll be ready for you!
ingredients
- 2 cups Water
- 1 can Cream of Mushroom Soup
- 1 package Lipton Onion Soup Mix
- Chuck Roast
- Red Potatoes
- Carrots
- Salt
- Pepper
directions
- 1
Pour water into the crockpot.
- 2
Place the roast in the crockpot and water.
- 3
Mix cream of mushroom soup and Lipton onion soup mix in separate bowl.
- 4
Pour Soup mix over roast in crockpot.
- 5
Peel carrots, slicing off the ends, and place them in the crockpot.
- 6
Rinse red potatoes and place them in the crockpot. (Can also be added a few hours later)
notes
You can make this with chuck roast or a rump roast. A rump roast has the least fat. A chuck roast has more fat but is more tender. How many potatoes and carrots you add is up to you. I fix as much as I can fit in because they make great leftovers!
