Stuffed Cabbage

ingredients

  • 3 lbs. ground chuck
  • 2 Eggs
  • 1/2 Cup rice
  • 1 Large head cabbage
  • 1 Tbs. salt
  • 1 Tsp. pepper
  • 1/2 Cup chopped onion
  • 2 Cans tomato soup
  • 1 Can cream of mushroom soup

directions

Core cabbage then steam it until the leaves turn lighter in color and are tender. When done you cool it in a colander. While your cabbage is steaming, mix the meat with the other ingredients. Roll a hand full of meat in a cabbage leave. Line the bottom of the pan with the left over leaves. After all the cabbage is in the pan pour the cream of mushroom and tomato soup mixture over stuffed cabbage. Cover the top layer with cabbage leave. Bake at 350° for 30-45 minutes
