Ginger Orange Tofu

This used to say that this was the one tofu dish Dave would eat. Now he eats lots of tofu dishes. I am officially changing this to be a ’gateway tofu dish’.

ingredients

  • 1 block firm tofu pressed (place on cutting board with a frying pan on top. I am not convinced it helps).
  • For Marinade:
  • 1/2 cup orange juice
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce
  • 3 cloves minced garlic
  • 1 tbs grated fresh ginger (about 1/2 inch cube)
  • 1/4 tsp red pepper flakes
  • 1 tbs brown sugar or honey
  • 2 tsp sesame oil
  • For cooking:
  • 2 tbs canola oil
  • 4-6 cups fresh or frozen veggies

    Firstly, I suggest you make the marinade the night before or morning of and let the tofu get nice and tasty in it.

    To cook, combine everything in a frying pan or wok and saute until warm and veggies are done.
