Grilled Tuna and Sushi Rice Salad
Japanese Fusion Cuisine. You may substitute grilled salmon for the tuna
ingredients
- Tuna Steaks
- Sesame oil
- Sesame seeds
- 2 Tuna steaks
- Salad
- 1 cup cooked jasmine rice
- 1/2 cup julienne sliced cucumber
- 1/3 avocado
- 1/4 cup minced red onion
- 1/2 cup julienne sliced carrots
- 2 tbsp rice vinegar
- 1/2 tsp wasabi paste
- 1 tbsp sesame oil
- 1 tsp minced ginger and garlic

Brush tuna steaks with sesame oil. Season with salt and pepper. Dredge steaks in sesame seeds until coated. Fry steaks in pan (use sesame oil) 2 minutes per side.

Combine rice through carrots. Combine remaining ingredients and whisk. Combine dressing with rice mixture. Serve salad with grilled tuna steaks.
