ingredients

  • 1 cup Channa dal
  • Oil
  • Onion
  • Chili
  • Salt
  • Cumin
  • Coriander
  • Chutney or ketchup

    Soak dal.

  • 2

    Wash and grind dal.

  • 3

    Chop onion and chili. Add salt, cumin and coriander. Add this to dal mixture and make small patties.

  • 4

    Heat oil in a pan and deep fry the patties.

  • 5

    Serve vadas warm with chutney or ketchup.
