Espaguetis (dominican spaghetti)
ingredients
- 1 lb spaghetti
- 1/4 lb salami diced into cubes
- 1/4c parm chees
- 2 Tbs olive oil
- 1 large green bell pepper cut into cubes
- 4 plum tomatoes cut into cubes
- 1 large onion finely sliced
- 4 Tbs tomato paste
- 1/4 tsp pepper
- 1 pinch oregano
- 1/2 Tbs mashed garlic
- 1/4 tsp vinegar
- 1/2 cup milk
- salt

Boil spaghetti until slightly softer than al dente having added a tsp of salt to the water.

Drain water and reserve. Heat a Tbs of oil in a pan. Sautee salami until golden brown.

Add onions, pepper, and garlic and let simmer until tender.

Add the tomatoes, let simmer until tender.

Add tomato paste and vinegar.

Add milk and let simmer on low heat until half liquid evaporates.

Add spaghetti and mix.

Add pepper and oregano and salt to taste.

Sprinkle cheese on top.

can substitute salami with ground beef
