Sticky Chicken

ingredients

  • 1/2 cup Brown Sugar
  • 1/4 cup White Vinegar
  • 1/4 cup Soy Sauce
  • Dash of Lemon Juice
  • 1 chopped Onion
  • 1/4 cup Chopped Parsley
  • 1 Tb minced Garlic
  • 1/4 tsp ground Cumin
  • 1/4 tsp Oregano
  • 1/4 tsp Cayenne Pepper
  • Chicken (we have used thighs, boneless breasts, drummettes)

    Remove skin from chicken (except drummettes). Add all ingredients to Ziploc bag except chicken, mix well. Add chicken. Marinate in the refrigerator 12 hours or overnight turning bag often. Put chicken and marinade in large heavy pot with tight fitting lid. Cook over medium heat about 45 minutes (depending on type of chicken used) or till done. Uncover pot and cook for 10 additional minutes, stirring often until sauce becomes sticky and thick.
