Cinnamon Rolls
Cinnamon Rolls in the oven filling the house with that yummy aroma is how all of you would wake up on Christmas morning.... This is one of our family traditions that I hope you will do with your children someday.
ingredients
- 2 packages of yeast
- 2 cups warm milk
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 2 eggs well beaten
- 7 to 7 1/2 sups all purpose flour
- 2 tsp salt
- 1/2 cup oil
- 1/2 cup butter
- 3/4 cup brown sugar
- 1/4 cup cinnamon

Warm milk in saucepan or microwave. Do not let it boil.It should be warm, not hot. Sprinkle yeast over 1/2 cup lukewarm water. Add 1 T sugar and stir together. Add warm milk, rest of sugar, salt and oil. Stir well. Add beaten eggs. Add 1/2 cup of flour and stir until smooth. Add remaining flour and stir until dough leaves the sides of the bowl. Cover and let rise until doubled, usually about 1 1;2 hours.

Punch dough down and knead slightly. Let stand 25 minutes. Knead a little more. Divide dough in half and roll each half into a rectangle. Brush with butter and sprinkle with cinnamon and brown sugar mixture. Roll up into a long log. Cut into 3 sections and then slice each section into 5 rolls. Place in a greased 13 x 9 pan and let rise for 30 - 40 minutes. Bake at 375 or 15 - 17 minutes. Allow to cool slightly and frost with cream cheese frosting

Make these on Christmas Eve and deliver to your special friends. Save the pan that you will serve for Christmas to bake in the morning. Let rise, cover, refrigerate. Bring to room temperature before baking in the morning. The aroma will get everyone up
