Puffy Sugar Cookies
ingredients
- 3 1/4 Cups Flour
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon nutmeg
- 1/2 Cup butter, softened
- 1 Cup Sugar
- 1 egg
- 1 1/2 teaspoons vanilla
- 1/2 Cup sour cream

Combine dry ingredients into a bowl. Set aside.

Cream butter. Add sugar, egg and vanilla; beat well.

Gradually add in dry ingredients.

Chill dough for at least 1 hour.

Roll out dough and cut cookies into desired shapes.

Bake on lightly greases cookie sheet at 400 for 8-10 minutes, or until bottoms are lightly browned.
