Salty, vinegary goodness.
ingredients
- 1 cup white vinegar
- 3 cloves garlic (peeled and crushed)
- 1/2 tsp. whole or ground peppercorns
- 3 bay leaves
- 1/4 cup soy sauce
- 6 chicken breasts or pork loin

In large saucepan, combine vinegar garlic, peppercorns, bay leaves and soy sauce.

Add meat and allow to marinate for 20-30 minutes.

Cover, bring to boil and simmer for 45 minutes.

Serve over white rice.
notes
The amounts of spices in this recipe can be tailored to your own taste. I like to add more pepper than the recipe calls for. Also, this recipe can be prepared using a whole chicken.
