Simple Savory Seafood Soup
Makes: 1 Large Pot
ingredients
- 1/2 lb. shrimp, peeled
- 4 oz. bay scallops
- 18 oz. soft tofu
- 1 can straw mushrooms
- 1/2 tsp. chili paste
- 2 tbsp. light soy sauce
- spinach
- 2 stalks green onions
- 4 cups water
directions

Start boiling water, chili paste, and soy sauce in large pot.

Cut tofu into 1 1/2 inch by 1/2 inch sticks.

Drain mushrooms.

Drop shrimp, scallops, tofu and mushrooms into water after it boils.

Slice green onions into thin slices and add to water.

Boil for 15 minutes.

Add handful of spinach before serving.

You can leave out chili paste to eliminate the spicy taste.

Season soup to your own taste by adding more soy sauce or salt.
