Easy Quiche
Hash brown crust, tender cheesy filling! Great for breakfast or brunch.
ingredients
- 24 ounce package frozen shredded hash brown potatoes
- 1/3 cup melted butter
- 1 cup (4 oz) shredded pepper cheese
- 1 cup (4 oz) shredded Swiss or Gouda cheese (or monterey jack, cheddar, etc)
- 1 cup (6 oz) diced cooked ham (or sliced ham cut up into pieces)
- 1/2 cup cream or milk
- 2 eggs
- 1/4 tsp salt

This quiche has a crust made of hash brown potatoes instead of pastry crust which makes it a man-pleaser! Grease 9 in. pie plate with butter or cooking spray.

Press thawed hash browns between paper towel to remove excess moisture. Fit

hash browns into pie plate to form crust. Brush hash brown crust with butter, and season with salt and pepper to taste.

Bake at 425 degrees for 25 minutes.

Remove crust from oven and fill with layers of cheeses and ham.

Beat cream with eggs and salt: pour over cheese/ham.

Return to oven; reduce heat to 350 degrees. Bake until knife inserted near center comes out clean, about 30-40 min.
