ingredients
- 1/4 cu melted butter
- 3 TBL flour
- 1 cu chicken broth
- 1 cu milk
- 4 slices cheddar cheese
- 2 stalks celery chopped
- 1 small onion chopped
- 2 cu diced cooked chicken
- ` 3 oz can slices mushrooms
- salt
- pepper
- peas (if desired)

Blend 1/4 cup melted butter with 3 TBL flour in a pot. Blend in 1 cu chicken broth and 1 cu milk and 4 slices cheddar cheese. Cook stirring constantly over low heat until thick.

In a separate pan saute onion and celery. Then add to pot with salt and pepper to taste. Ad cooked chicken, mushrooms and peas. Heat through and serve over rice or egg noodles.
