ingredients

  • 4 chicken breast halves (2 whole)
  • 2 cans (10 oz. each) chicken broth
  • 1 clove garlic, minced
  • 1 cup chopped onion
  • 2 cans (11 oz. each) white shoe peg corn
  • 2 cans (4 oz. each) chopped green chilies
  • 2 cans (15.5 ounce) great northern beans
  • 1 tsp. ground cumin
  • 1/4 tsp oregano
  • 1/4 tsp crushed basil
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Tortilla chips
  • Shredded Monterey jack cheese

I like to use baked or grilled chicken in this instead of cooking it in the broth.
