Nana's Pumpkin Custard Pie
Creamy pumpkin pie
ingredients
- 9" pie crust
- 3 T. butter
- 2/3 c. sugar
- 3 eggs
- 1/2 tsp. ginger, ground
- 1/2 tsp. cloves, ground
- 1/2 tsp. cinnamon, ground
- 1/2 tsp. nutmeg, ground
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 3/4 c. pumpkin
- 1 1/2 c. milk or cream, scalded

Preheat oven to 450°

Melt butter, add sugar & well beaten eggs.

Add spaces, salt & pumpkin.

Add scalded milk or cream

Mix well.

Pour into 9" pie crust.

Bake at 450° for 10 minutes. Turn oven down to 325° and bake another 30 minutes or until set.
