SWEDISH MEATBALLS

ingredients

  • 1 lb. ground beef
  • 1 lb. ground pork
  • 1/2 c. minced onion
  • 3/4 c. fine dry bread crumbs
  • 1 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 1 tbsp. parsley
  • 1/8 tsp. pepper
  • 1 tsp. Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 egg
  • 1/2 c. milk

    Mix above ingredients together. Make meatballs into size of walnut. Brown balls in 1/4 c. oil. Remove meatballs from pan. Stir in 1/4 c. flour, 1 tsp. paprika, 1/2 tsp. salt, 1/8 tsp. pepper- mix with cracklings, stir in 2 c. boiling water and 3/4 cup sour cream. Return meatballs to gravy and cook about 15 or 20 min. Serve over rice or noodles.
