Honey walnut brownies
ingredients
- 1 cup (150g) all purpose (plain) flour
- 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
- 1 /8 teaspoon salt
- 6 oz (180g) semisweet (dark) chocolate coarsely chopped
- 1/2 cup (125g) butter
- 1/2 cup (100g) granulated sugar
- 1/2 cup (125ml) honey
- 2 large eggs
- 1 cup (100g) finely chopped walnuts

Preheat the oven to 350°F. Butter a 13x19inch (33x23cm) baking pan.

Mix the flour, baking powder, and salt in a medium bowl. Melt the chocolate and butter in a double boiler over barely simmering water. Transfer the chocolate mixture to a large bowl and let cool to 5 min.

Beat in the sugar and honey. Add the eggs one at a time, beating until just blended after each addition. Mix in the mixed dry ingredients and walnuts. Spoon the batter into the prepared pan in an even layer. Bake until dry on top and almost firm to touch, 30-35 min. Let cool completely before cutting.
