Brown Sugar Fudge

Memere`s Brown Sugar Fudge we kid her about getting this off a bag of Price Chopper Brown sugar so I am listing the ingredients as they are listed on the wrapper

ingredients

1/4 cup price chopper butter
1/2 cup price chopper brown sugar firmly packed
1 Lb price chopper confectioners sugar
1/3 cup instant nonfat dry milk
1 tsp price chopper vanilla
1/3 cup chopped nuts
1/3 cup dark corn syrup

directions

Butter an 8 inch square pan. Melt butter and brown sugar in the top of a 2 qt double boiler over boiling water. Meanwhile sift confectioners sugar and nonfat dry milk, set aside stir in corn syrup and vanilla into brown sugar mixture over boiling water. Stir in sifted ingredients half at a time, stirring each time until mixture is well blended and smooth. Remove from heat mix in nuts and turn into a pan. cool. cut into squares. makes 36 squares.
