  • 3 Slightly Beaten Eggs
  • 1/4 Cup Sugar
  • 1/4 tsp Salt
  • 2 Cups Scalded Milk
  • 1/2 tsp Vanilla
  • Nutmeg

directions

Combine eggs, sugar and salt; slowly add milk and vanilla. Pour into lightly greased custard cups; sprinkle with nutmeg. Bake in pan - 1 inch hot water surrounding - in moderate oven (350°) until mixture doesn’t adhere to knife, about 30 to 40 minutes. Chill.
