Cheep-cheep chicken wings

The kids love these because they can eat with their fingers!

ingredients

  • Chicken Wings:
  • 24 chicken wings, cut at joints, tips removed
  • 3 tbsp olive oil
  • Salt
  • Sauce:
  • 2 tsp cornstarch
  • 3 tbsp soy sauce
  • 2 tsp sesame oil
  • 3 tbsp vinegar (rice or white wine)
  • 3 tbsp water
  • 2 tbsp grated fresh ginger
  • 3 cloves garlic, finely chopped
  • 1 tsp chilli sauce
  • 1/2 tsp hot paprika
  • 1 green onion, thinly sliced

directions

    Mix wings in oil & put on a baking sheet. Cook at 275degrees for 40 minutes, turning once.

    In a bowl, whisk the cornstarch, soy sauce, sesame oil, vinegar, water, fresh ginger, garlic, chilli and paprika.

    Mix in the wings & coat well. Put back in the oven 10 minutes.

    Garnish with green onion.

Keep LOTS of wipes handy for little fingers! Serve on a plate to stop them going soggy.
