• For the cake:
• 0.5 C butter flavored shortening
• 2 C sugar
• 1 egg
• 2 C applesauce
• 2.5 C flour
• 1.5 tsp. baking soda
• 1.5 tsp. salt
• 0.75 tsp. cinnamon
• 0.5 tsp ground cloves
• 0.5 tsp allspice
• 0.5 C water
• 1 C chopped walnuts
• 1 C (plus) raisins
• For the frosting:
• 0.5 C butter
• 1 C brown sugar, firmly packed
• .25 C milk
• 1.75-2 C powdered sugar, sifted
