White Raisin Sugar Cookies
An all-time favorite from Grandma Barbara
ingredients
- 1 1/2 c raisins
- 1 1/2 c water
- 1 c butter, softened
- 1 1/2 c sugar
- 3 eggs
- 1 tsp baking soda
- 1 tsp baking powder
- 1 tsp vanilla
- 3 1/2 c flour
directions

Boil raisins and water until plump or until water is gone.

Cream butter, sugar,and eggs. Add soda, powder,and vanilla and mix until fluffy. Slowly add flour. Dough should be able to handle without sticking. Add raisins. Roll cookies in cinnamon and sugar. Bake at 350 ° for 12 minutes or until slightly brown.
