Cheddar Biscuits
A low calorie version of Red Lobster’s cheddar biscuits. Buttermilk Bisquick biscuits with cheddar cheese on the inside topped with garlic butter and parsley.
2 cups reduced fat Bisquick mix
¾ cup low fat buttermilk
1 cup shredded fat free cheddar cheese
Margarine
¼ tsp. garlic powder
¼ tsp. parsley flakes
Preheat oven to 400. Combine the baking mix, buttermilk, and cheese in a medium bowl. Mix by hand until well combined. Divide the dough into equal portions (about 3 TBSP each), and spoon onto a lightly greased or nonstick cookie sheet. Flatten each biscuit a bit with your fingers. Bake for 18-20 minutes or until the tops of biscuits begin to brown. In a small bowl, combine the butter with the garlic powder. Heat this mixture for 30 seconds in the microwave, then brush a light coating over top of each biscuit. Sprinkle parsley on top of each biscuit. Serve warm.

If you are not concerned about calories, you can use regular Bisquick, buttermilk, and cheddar cheese. I've also used regular milk. If you have another dough recipe you can also use that with the cheese and other ingredients.
