Hot Crab Dip
This is Andi’s very favorite dip and she asks for it every Christmas.
ingredients
- 2 Cans Crabmeat (7 oz. or 12 oz. frozen crabmeat
- 2 Pkg Cream Cheese
- 1/4 Tsp Garlic salt
- 1/2 Cup Mayonnaise
- 2 Tsp Dry Mustard
- 2 Tsp Powdered sugar
- 1 Tsp Onion powder
- 1/4 Cup Sherry

Place crabmeat in a colander and rinse with ice water, drain thoroughly. Check crabmeat for particles of shell or cartilage. Combine all ingredients except sherry in top of a double boiler (or saucepan) and heat. Add sherry and transfer to heated chafing dish or serving dish.

Serve with crackers or melba toast.
